The bottom six were David Schlachter, Dineo Moeketsi, Eloise Horjus, Josslyn Hlenti, Tsepho Seloane and Carl Ellis. Producer Pieter Toerien saved two contestants from going home, 19 year old Dineo from Fourways and 20 year old David from Durban.

Tsepho and Josslyn both go back to matric and resume their duties as deputy head prefects, and neither seem eager to pursue show business just yet, rather opting to go to university and get an education. The older ousted contestants, Eloise who's 25 years old and has already been active in show business says she'll continue to pursue her dream of acting and theater, and 24 year old Carl has just completed a degree in Human Resource management.

The rest of the contestants go back into grueling training for this Saturday's "Disney movie soundtrack" inspired performances. They'll be training with SA's soul sister Lira this week, so don't forget to watch High School Musical: Spotlight South Africa this coming Saturday at on M-Net at 19h00 and the results show on Monday at 19h00. Another four contestants will be leaving this week.
