The video involved about 60 volunteers, who all gave up two days to star in the video, with Koos being the only one who appeared as himself.

Because the backing band couldn't make it, the band was played by musicians Anthony Theunissen (Drums), Gerrit Aalbers (guitarist), and Anton Marshall (Bass, Piano, and backing vocals). They replaced Lente Louw, Schalk Joubert, Willem Moller, Melissa van der Spuy, Kevin Gibson, and a choir of 15… but you can't be too literal when making a music video even when you do have a proper budget (we didn't).

Koos Kombuis was ultimately the only person in the video who appeared playing himself - much to the consternation of Francois Blom fans, who felt we shouldn't have made the video without him in it!

We didn't plan to. Francois Blom of folk-metal band Kobus! - who provided backing vocals for the studio version of the song used in the video - was booked to be in the video as himself. However, when he called an hour before the shoot started to say he couldn't make it, we were disappointed, but we had to make a plan. We asked Three More White Guys frontman Anton Marshall, who had originally only signed up to play the missing bassist, to fill the gap. Anton was perfect for the part because he can play a variety of instruments as well as sing. He bravely lip-synched to the track, hopped onto the piano, and picked out the basslines for some close-ups.

In a behind the scenes interview, Anton joked about the situation in which he found himself: "Standing in for Francois - Francois Blom of Kobus! - is quite an interesting prospect. If I had known I was going to do that before the production was announced I would have been 'Me? Where's the wig?'"
