Insig: 1987 – 2007

In May this year, Naspers announced Insig magazine will be closing in June. The magazine was one of the few intellectual Afrikaans magazines to ever see the light.

Insig played an important role in forming Afrikaner culture and political and popular opinion. Even though the magazine changed focus to reach a wider market in its final years, it never shook off its image as a thinking magazine.

Watch our exclusive video and see Insig take its final bow. Our exclusive footage also takes you behind the scenes to Insig’s last photo shoot, featuring Jackie and Vera Nagtegaal.
