Cape Town - Meet Travis Pastrana, the Nitro Circus leader and action sports star legend from Maryland, USA .
Travis is known for his many broken bones, fearlessness, for being the first Motor X Freestyle event winner for the X games at age 15, and for being the first person to land a double backflip on a motorcycle during the Best Trick Event at the 2006 X Games.
Pastrana was just 4 when he obtained his first motorcycle, and this is where he found his love and calling for motorcross.
By 2005, at the age of 22, he had already won a total of five X Game’s and Other wins by this time included Dew Tour and Red Bull X Fighters. In Total he owns 17 X Game medals, 11 of them being gold medals. He is the 3rd most decoraded X Games athlete in history.

Apart from being known for his crazy and fearless stunts. Travis Pastrana is also well known for his positive, unpretentious attitude, which has made him loved by the world, the media and his fans.
He participates in FMX, Mountain Biking, BMX and he is also a Rally Driver for Subaru.
The Nitro Circus is returning to South Africa this summer! The high-adrenaline tour will kick off in Cape Town on Saturday, 21 October. The global action sports phenomenon will bring an all-new show with them, filled with unbelievable world firsts, spectacular tricks and mind-blowing stunts.
