Backlash at Suri name-caller

2013-07-17 11:39

How should paparazzi treat the children of celebrities, who are only famous by chance of birth? Since the Suri Cruise incident debate has sparked over the limits a paparazzo can push when it comes to famous children. Our Channel24 readers voice their opinions.

NO PERSON OF ANY LEVEL MAY CALL ANY NAMES OFFENSIVE OR UNSAVOURY TO ANY PERSON OF ANY AGE.
- Jennifer Pretorius

For an ‘adult’ to behave like this is shocking.  Leave the young ones.  They have enough stress as it is.  Most of the photographers are craving attention and money.  To them ‘anything goes’. I would have knocked him down with his long lens in my face, especially cursing a little one who did not even use foul language.  Don’t they have bodyguards to keep the media at bay?
- Roodbol

All children should be respected at all times.  Swearing and insulting a child is not the right thing to do – ever.
- Silke Kaiser

They should be respectful.
- Doctor Leshabane

I think what happened is disgusting and out of line. They are children and should be protected and left alone. They are not the celebrities, the parents are. These idiots are responsible for killing Lady Dianne, have they learnt nothing or do they not care? Suri's father should that that pig on and sue them.
- Yvonne van Dijk
