Lady Gaga 'not a positive influence'

2012-10-08 12:26

With reference to Lady Gaga coming to South Africa.  From my point of view someone with her values and outlook on life is not a positive influence on youth or anyone for that matter.

The fact that she advocates fur and openly wears a meat suite is not someone that needs to be in South Africa. As South African’s we are proud of our country’s stand point on animal welfare.

Her outspoken ways seem to lead rather to the negative than the positive.  She has openly advocated wearing fur and seems to see no problem in the cruelty and barbaric way in which fur is obtained.  Her meat suit was another slap in the face to all animal lovers and vegetarians worldwide.  Who the hell wears a meat suite besides a very sick person.

I am sure my opinion joins many who would have rather seen another act in South Africa.  I will not be advocating her tour in SA at all as in my mind this is a shame that she is allowed into our country to come and spread her corrupt opinions on a nation that is already battling to come to terms with changing times.

I do hope her show in SA is cancelled.
