Reality show scam

I would like to share my view on the I Want To Sing Gospel-competition.

This is quite sad, because I was a member of the audience for almost every show aired. Even the final show was the pits, sitting live in the audience, all of us voting our fingers numb until the last minute.

Even the presenter was counting down the time and then we see the cheque has been already written out together with a certificate. The voting lines didn't even close, votes were not audited, but still they announced the winner.

Months later we find out that the winner was having an affair with one of the production members and that she was pregnant with his baby.

Those placed second and third didn’t even receive a prize, after all the money the show made alone from all the votes they received both telephone and via SMS.

I just feel that the prizegiving and the way the show was produced was a entire scam , and that for a gospel show as well.
