Reeva Steenkamp, the 29-year-old model who was reportedly shot and killed in boyfriend Oscar Pistorius' home, was laid to rest in her hometown of Port Elizabeth today. We take a look at how SABC1 remember the late model before and after the episode of her reality show was aired.
I had never
heard of Reeva Steenkamp before the incident.
I wanted to see what she looked like and
who she was. I did not watch the whole program, just a few clips of her. I was
not shocked for the SABC1 airing the program, however, I was shocked to think that how
could someone have murdered her.
She was beautiful, seemed to be a happy, nice
and sweet young woman with a head full of dreams and with the most
sincere and incredible smile.
After seeing this beautiful young woman laughing,
joking and full of life, throwing kisses at the cameras and saying how much she
loved us, I could not contain this sense of loss, sadness, anger and
