With Idols SA Season 8 drawing to a close on Tuesday, we asked our users who they think will be the winner of Idols.

Here is some of the opinions we received:

Zama Mchunu writes: "Khaya is a young, talented man.To me he is the best! He deserves this award."

Tshaz Muenda writes: "My vote for Idols SA is to Khaya for 3 reasons: 1. He is good at singing 2. He is a brother in faith (Christians support each other)  3. He is humble&has sense of humour."

Michelle Esterhuizen says: "I think both dersve to win the Idols season 8, but I know that there can only be one winner. I vote for Melissa because of women empowerment. It's time women also get noticed for their talent. She has the whole package, so I hope everyone is voting for her."

Nondumiso Mthembu writes: "I am voting for Khaya Mthethwa. He is doing it for me - he is a talented singer who can take on any song."

Malebo Ratlhangange says: "Yooh Yooh Yooh... The contestants are super fly! I'm enjoying the Idols like nobody's business. I see Khaya winning this competition as he is creative and the guy just have the POP voice!Mellisa is good, but Khaya is great."

Jessica Petersen writes: "I personally feel that Khaya is going to be the SA Idol. Melissa can sing, but not as good as Khaya!"

Danlize Williams writes: "This is Khaya’s competition to win. He is going to win. From the first day in auditions you could see he is in it to win it!"

Eric Nyuswa says: "Khaya has shown us great maturity in his chosen songs and also dynamism. His voice has also matured with time. I see him going very far with his music career as he also seem to be flexible to positive opinions. He is my winner for this season."

Ningi Mkhize writes: "I'm voting for Khaya because from the first day of his Durban-audition, he just blew me away with his powerful voice. He is constant, he's just himself, he is original. Simply put: he is down to earth. I think he could be a new version of Luther Vandros. I remember the day Unathi sang with him. I knew he was going to be in the Top 10. He deserves to be the SA idol."

The final performance of Idols SA Season 8 will be broadcasted on 2 October at 19:30 where the winner will be announced.
