The Internship
Cape Town - Are you looking for the most epic intern job in the universe? Look no further.

Channel24 is looking for 4 super amazing new interns. Here’s what you need to know:

Main Purpose of the Job

If you ever dreamed of walking on the moon and exploring space, this job is not for you. We’re looking for some down-to-earth highly creative super-humans that can write magnificently, snap superb selfies, film fantastic Vine videos, dream up mad new things, write great lists and explore uncharted territory with only an iPhone in their hands. We need lovers of music, film, sport, food and puppies to apply for what can only be described as the best online journalist job on the planet Earth.

Job Outputs

The winners will get the once in a lifetime opportunity to write creative and interesting online articles in a ground-breaking new way. With online journalism expanding by the second, this position as content producer will see you writing, sourcing, exploring, photographing, filming and putting together some of the most viral-friendly content on the web.

Skills and Competencies

You’re so bright, people mistake you for the lighthouse in Sea Point. You’re so amazing at multitasking, you’re reading this while grabbing a coffee in Kloof Street and tweeting a selfie because #YOLO! You’re so self-motivated, your application is half-submitted and you haven’t even reached the requirements yet! You love detail, you crush deadlines, you organise your life around the DStv schedule and you totally understand why a job description should be fun to read.

Qualifications and Experience

Our dream candidate has: Matric, preferably a degree in the creative or communication fields, experience in front or behind the camera, an intense love for social media, great interpersonal communication skills, an amazing sense of humour, an interest in a variety of fields, impressive general knowledge, mind-blowing writing skills, a natural curiosity and the need to know things first, some kind of experience in the journalism industry and at least a Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram account.

If you’ve got what it takes, apply now! Interested applicants may forward their C.V. for the attention of Jamie Leeuwendaal as follows:
