Cape Town - OLX is seriously committed to helping students achieve their dreams.

This is more clear now than ever before after they announced that they will be donating up to R500 000 towards student bursaries.

Earlier in February OLX proudly declared that they will be funding two R50 000 bursaries to two lucky students for 2016. The response they got was huge.

So they decided to make an even bigger difference.
“We were inspired by not only the large number of submissions we received, but by the passion and determination of the students in need of assistance. Because of this we will now be donating a further R500 000 towards tertiary education costs, and are asking the public to help us achieve this,” said Stephen Ballot, OLX Country Manager.

For every ad that was posted on their site and App from 9 February to 15 February, OLX will be donating R10 towards the student bursary fund.

The overall goal was to give R50 000 to ten students across the country in order to help fund their futures.

This makes us feel so good inside. Well done, OLX! Keep doing what you’re doing!
