Who cares what the critics think? What do YOU think? We decided it was time to find out which movies, music and more made your decade. So we selected some popular options from all over the world (we did our best to be fair) and then asked you to pick your top three from each category.

Who are you? And what do you love?

possum 12/11/2009 5:55 PM: U2 started their downward trajectory when Bono got involved in politics, and that's almost a decade ago. They produced a few good ditties during their existence, but they've hardly rewritten the face of music, have they? Ditto for Sting wrote even better songs, and killed his career by becoming involved in ... yes ... politics. Musicians beware.

Jean Barker 12/11/2009 2:06 PM: @neil @craai It won a Grammy in 2001, so it couldn't have been released before 2000. It's off a 2000 album and definitely didn't hit SA til this decade. Can we stop talking about this now ;-) Thanks.

monica 12/11/2009 4:29 AM: I have still to digest the 2010s... amazing changes, everything so fast ( for what????(For ouraelf's sake!!)... but the 1990-09... well: the ipod, the electric songs, lady di, airton senna, obhama, Lula ( the brazilian president), no matter if you black or white thing!, the consolidation of the SA's democracy and the empowerment working here, the 2010 WORLD CUP and all the good things brougth with, althoug the international crysis.. God bless South Africa, God help us to save the planet.!!!
