Amor parades Joost at KKNK

How would Amor Vittone - wife of beleaguered former rugby star, now home porno star Joost Van Der Westhuizen - handle the social and media pressure of her appearance at Huisgenoot's Musiekplaas at the KKNK?

Well, she rocked up onstage looking hot and glam in tight black jeans and heels, and twirled and sashayed like a star down the T-Shaped stage for the thousands of fans who screamed her name and strained to touch her hands. Oddly, both songs she performed seemed like they could be about her troubled marriage – "Elke Dag", all about how she still loves her man despite everything, "Voluit Lewe" which rhymes with "vergewe" for a reason. The crowd couldn't get enough of it.

And Joost showed up to support her with a display of "we're working it all out" that involved holding hands, signing autographs together for resourceful fans who found their way to the railing separating the Huisgenoot Baie Belangrike Persoon (BBP) enclosure from the rest of the plaas, and hanging out together smiling and laughing in the bar after the glitzy show.

But is it real, or all an act? Is this standing by your man, or taking it lying down?

At 1.45 am, Joost was still hanging out backstage. And Amor? Nowhere to be seen. We're guessing she was back at the hotel, getting her beauty sleep no doubt – and it seems to be working.
