Cape Town – Ashton Kutcher has unfollowed his wife, Demi Moore, on social networking site Twitter.
US website RadarOnline reported on Friday that Ashton had unfollowed Demi – who uses the twitter handle @mrskutcher - and that she too unfollowed him after following each other on the site for years. Demi however changed her mind and started following Ashton again shortly after.
At the time of writing, Ashton Kutcher was still not following Demi Moore on Twitter.
Unfollowing an account on Twitter means that the user no longer subscribes to any tweets posted by that account. The Social media drama follows reports that Aston Kutcher and Demi Moore’s marriage may be on the rocks after rumours of Ashton’s infidelity spread across the web.
48-year-old Demi fuelled speculation that the marriage was in trouble after posting cryptic tweets that refer to anger and deceit.
The actress tweeted a quote from the Greek philosopher Epictetus on September 23: "When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself and study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger."
Three days later, the star posted a picture of herself looking tired and despondent, with the caption: "I see through you."
Ashton and Demi are both very active on Twitter and have been known to tweet each other constantly.
