Justin Bieber has to keep re-shooting his CSI scenes – because he is miming his co-stars' lines.
The 16-year-old pop star – who is appearing in the US drama show as a troubled teen – is reportedly costing the television programme a fortune, because Justin's scenes need to be retaken every time his lips are caught moving along with the other stars' words.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "It's good Justin's got everyone's lines memorised so he knows where he's at in the scene, but the camera keeps catching him lip-synching when the other actors speak. It's hilarious – but damned expensive!"
During Justin's acting debut in the season premiere, the teenage star plays troubled Jason McCann and will remain a regular character throughout the entire series.
A show spokesperson recently explained: "He will play a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother – a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season."
