The Oprah Winfrey show is retiring after 25 years on the air. Yesterday, TV's phattest talk queen announced that the last episode of her die-hard show will air on September 9, 2011.

So, I guess we'll be seeing her way into 2012 then? And then SABC or etv will re-run the entire show's history from day 1, just like they did with Baywatch and Friends. That could be fun: on fast forward you could see Oprah's yo-yo dieting in action!

However, this doesn't mean Oprah's ready to sit at home spending her days grooming her dogs. It's rumoured that a new Oprah show will air on The Oprah Winfrey Network (next she'll have her own satellite!). Whatever she does, it'll be huge, just like her.

What will you do without Oprah to tell you how to dress, lose weight (haha) and raise your kids?! We're doomed!

The Oprah Winfrey Show's days are numbered.
