Brittany Murphy's husband found dead!

Simon Monjack has died just five months after his wife, actress Brittany Murphy passed away.

The screenwriter was found dead at his home in the Hollywood Hills. The cause of death is still unknown.

At approximately 21h30 on Sunday night, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a 911 call, but after medics tried to assist Simon, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Simon Monjack and Brittany Murphy were married in 2007, and since then up until Brittany's death in December 2009, the couple and Brittany's mom lived together.

Brittany died at the young age of 32 of pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anaemia and multiple drug intoxication, according to the coroner. 

Simon's last project as a writer was in 2006, according to IMDb.
