Cindy Nell talks fashion, Hannah Montana and JubJub

Meet Cindy: Beauty queen, promoter, exceptionally tanned wife and Hannah Montana fan.

SA's hardest working former beauty queen is back in the saddle after not lasting too long on Survivor Santa Carolina. Cindy Nell has been named the local judge for the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana Style Competition.  We chatted to Cindy about her latest projects, married life and of course, fellow Survivor SA contestant and now murder accused JubJub. There's something for everyone, folks!

Cindy had the opportunity to be a tween again when she designed her own Hannah Montana T-Shirt to launch the competition. She looks so good in it, it's so unfair. Once a beauty queen, always a beauty. Would you believe this 20-something woman has the heart of a little girl? "I combined my style and Hannah's style which is a little bit fun and stylish, just kind of young and fresh" she said of her personal design. Ag sweet.

Cindy's also young and fresh in love. After a year of marriage, Cindy still gushes "I'm loving it! I really am. Life is absolutely fantastic at the moment. The best thing is, I suppose, I have such a great husband." Things are so good between them that she couldn't stand being away from him so often due to her Pasella schedule, and that's why she left the show last year.

She hasn't left TV, though. Cindy survived a whole two episodes on the current season of Survivor SA: Santa Carolina celebrity edition, but was voted out because she was just too damn good at everything. Plus, she was too nice. Cindy elaborates on her charitable nature: "On the night that you have to go for eviction, you have to take all your things with you. Although none of us expected to be voted out, we all had to be ready for it. So before I left, I said to the girls, in case I get voted out, do you want me to leave some of my clothes behind. And they said yes so we all left something behind. I left all my swimsuits behind and all my clothes besides for what I was wearing. So subsequently Sandi and Ashley each wore one of my bikinis for the duration that they were on. And I don't think anyone noticed. " Maybe sharing is caring, but this could be taking it a bit too far.

Cindy also shared a tribe with rapper JubJub, who this week was charged with murder after his deadly street dice allegedly killed four school children. Cindy was cleverly reluctant to comment, saying "Sjoe... if I had to be honest, JubJub is quite something, and it definitely came across." Very cryptic indeed, but that opening "Sjoe" tells us there's something she's not telling us.

Not everything is as cryptic with this beautiful businesswoman, though. She's super excited about her new job as co-host with Elana Afrika on Woza Lunchtime, Supersport's new FIFA World Cup lifestyle programme. She explains that, " It's like the Top Billing of the World Cup. Behind the scenes, interviewing the famous soccer wives, going to all the events, going to some games, and all the glitz and glam of the soccer. So yes I will be staying in TV, I love it."

And we love you, Cindy, for being such a trooper. Cindy was spotted partying up a storm with Channel24 editor Jean Barker at Oppikoppi last year.

So who's her favourite band or musician? "International will obviously be Miley Cyrus at the moment and local will probably be the Parlotones." Sticking with Miley because she's employing Cindy at the moment? I couldn't say, I love Miley too.

It's nice to talk to a celebrity who's so good and well-versed at giving interviews. Cindy always says the right thing at the right time with the right amount of enthusiasm. This chick's a machine!
