Dozi uses 'k' word at KKNK

Afrikaans singer Dozi has been rapped over the knuckles for racist remarks he made last Wednesday while in Oudsthoorn for the arts festival.

Tonight reports that Dozi, whose real name is Henk Opperman, used the 'k' word three times and said that "black people do not know how to govern the country' while he was at a restaurant. Eish! He then claimed that he was drunk and when the topic of Julius Malema came up, he 'lost it'. There we go, put it on Malema, he's our national scapegoat.

The organisers of the Absa Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees insisted on Dozi making a public apology, as the event is "committed to a non-racial notion of Afrikaans and to inclusivity and non-discrimination".

Do you think the KKNK will invite Dozi back next year, or should he be suspended?
