We're talking about sportsmen who impress on the field and in front of the camera. It's a given that they'd be in good shape - considering their line of work - but we applaud them nonetheless for their modelling chops.

Uber-Olympian Michael Phelps' recent turn as a model for Louis Vuitton inspired us to remember other great sportsmen who are also very easy on the eye.

Armani is first out of the gate when it comes to snagging these hot properties for their campaigns. Rafael Nadal, Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham have all modelled the brand's jeans and underwear.

SA's Oscar Pistorius is the face of Thierry Mugler's A*Men fragrance and he looks like a futuristic god in this gorgeous advert.
