Golden Goodbye: Egoli's final bow

South Africa's first local soapie Egoli airs its final episode on M-Net tonight at 18h30.

The finale comes a little earlier than expected. When the decision to end the show was announced in 2008, the final airing date was March 31. But tonight is your last chance to catch a glimpse of local soapie history that's been on our screens for almost 18 years. Franz Marx really got this one right. 

From tomorrow, 3 March, the timeslot will be filled with 18 special episodes recounting the highlights of the show's career.

Walt, Louwna, Chris, Jane, Nenna... which of the Egoli characters will you miss most? Did you ever go to one of the Egoli Roadshows? More importantly, what are you going to watch now at 18h30?
