John Travolta's teenage son, Jett, died on Friday 2 January in the Bahamas after apparently suffering a seizure at the family’s vacation home.
A house caretaker found Jett, 16, unconscious in a bathroom late Friday morning. He was taken by ambulance to a Freeport hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Superintendent Basil Rahming of the Freeport police said in a statement.
The teenager had a history of seizures, according to the statement. Jett was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease when he was 2-years-old, an illness that leads to inflammation of the blood vessels in young children.
Jett was the oldest child of John and his wife, actress Kelly Preston. They also have an 8-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu.
