Julius Malema is no chicken! He courageously parked his luxury vehicle outside a dangerous prison just to reach out to murder-accused rapper JubJub with a friendly hand and a Nando's meal.
The ANC Youth League president even risked his freedom by skipping court to do his duty and reach out to his fellow youth. He went as far as to arrange a comfortable meeting for the two of them. Not any old visiting area for the mighty Js!
The Cape Times reports that according to a Johannesburg lawyer, regular prison visits are conducted through "glass barriers and in public areas." JubJub and Julius, together with his entourage, were treated to a private visiting room. The meeting began with a Nando's meal.
It's nice to know Julius goes to such lengths for people in 'need'. It also seems Julius has forgiven the fast-food chain for their advertisement last year where a puppet bearing a striking resemblance to Julius asks for 'change'.

Molemo "JubJub" Maarohanye is awaiting trial and due to appear in court today (Wednesday 17 March) alongside his co-accused, Themba Tshabalala. The two allegedly raced their Mini Coopers in Soweto where they crashed, killing four schoolboys in the accident and coming away unscathed themselves. I wonder if Themba got a Nando's meal too?
