Kelis is a baby mama!

Kelis is going to have to bring her milkshake home from now on because she's got a baby! Yes, Kelis has given birth to a bouncing boy.

The singer and her ex, rapper Nas, were supposed to be in court yesterday bitch-slapping each other about maintenance for the child, but baby saved the day as Kelis went into labour.

Rumour has it that Nas was not allowed into the delivery room or to see the baby once he was born. Kelis claims he hasn't forked out a dime for the baby, but Nas says he bought a stroller. Woah! Generous, isn't he?
 
No word on the name of the baby yet – any suggestions? And I wonder how long it will take her to fit back into those gold jeans? In Hollywood, the norm is usually about three days.
