US pop star and the first (and probably most successful) American Idol has touched down for her upcoming tour of South Africa.

heat magazine managed to catch her at the airport despite her details being kept top secret by management. That's the way,  you paps!

Kelly arrived just after 10 am this morning sporting a really, really casual look and a new red dye job. We're not sure how we feel about it, but hey, we're just glad she's here!

Check out www.heat.co.za for more pics and video of Kelly's arrival.

It seems she didn't have any problems getting into the country. Her passport is probably not that full, hey Lance?

Even when the bodyguards tried to stop the heat staff from taking photos, Kelly was uber fan-friendly and obliged. Aaw, that's just how we like our schlebs!

Kelly Clarkson's SA leg of her All I Ever Wanted Tour kicks off in Johannesburg at the Coca-Cola Dome on Friday 12 March, Sunday 14 March at the ICC in Durban and on Wed 17 March at the Grand Arena, Grand West in Cape Town.

Kelly rocks! I was at the JHB show, and she was amazing! I just totally love her. Oh, and Andre, her true fans don't care whether she's "dik" or not. She's lovely and she has a stunning voice. She's AWEsome!

I see the same idiots that keep trawling these articles to fill their empty, boring existences with false feelings of self-satisfaction, are still around. We went to her concert last night and Kelly just once again made it clear why we adore her. Pity you still get those with small-man syndrome who thinks that dissing people who are down-to-earth and amazingly talented, make them more appealing. Crawl back into the trailer your mother / sister / niece (<-- all probably the same person) let you escape from. I normally don't refrain to name-calling but after last night there's no way in hell I'm standing back for comments like these. Kelly is down-to-earth, sweet with a voice that far out-performs 99% of current celebrities. She was gorgeous on stage and is what a true role-model is all about. Hats off to you, Kelly. This is one performance I'll never forget.

Ok, I'm being anal.. "...arrived just after 10 am this morning..." That's redundant. Its either '10am' or '10 o clock this morning.' '10am this morning' is incorrect. Anal over, I'm 40 and KC rocks!!
