Michael Cera wants to be a full-time action star.
The Scott Pilgrim vs. The World actor says his stint in the adventure-packed movie, which sees his titular character have to defeat the seven evil ex-boyfriends of the girl he wants to date, has made him think about his future career and what other roles he would like to take on.
At the UK premiere of his latest film at the Empire Cinema in London's Leicester Square, BANG Showbiz asked if he would like to do more action films, and he said: "It was very cool to be a kung-fu master in a film. So yeah, I would definitely consider doing action movies full-time. It would be cool."
As well as being action-packed, the movie is very funny, but Michael's co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead found her role was a lot more serious.
The stunning actress took on the part of Romana Flowers, the girl Scott tries to woo, and she admits it was tough for her at times.
She said: "Despite this being a funny film, my character had a lot of emotional baggage so it wasn't light-hearted for me - in fact, it was quite the opposite. It was fun to be in crazy world full of funny people but I definitely had dark periods as I had to be serious all the time."
The movie's other stars Chris Evans, Jason Schwartzman, Ellen Wong and Anna Kendrick also attended the premiere as did singer Florence Welch, Macaulay Culkin and Simon Pegg.
