London – 12 lucky American single girls had the once in a lifetime opportunity to possibly marry Prince Harry.
Or so they thought.
A brand new Fox reality show title I Wanna Marry "Harry" fooled 12 girls into believing that they had the chance to woo the red haired prince, Deadline.com reported.
But it was all a hoax!
The project, from Ryan Seacrest and ZigZag productions was green-lighted in August last year under the title Dream Date.
The description for show, which airs on 27 May, is as follows:
"An average English ‘bloke’ is given the royal treatment and an upper crust makeover before meeting 12 single American women searching for Prince Charming. Will he be able to convince them he’s regal? And if he does, will they fall for the crown, or fall in love with the real him?"
The real Prince Harry is currently dating Cressida Bonas and rumours are rife that the two will be getting hitched in the near future.
