1D groupies show their dark side

London - The staff at British GQ had no idea about the Twitter storm they unleashed with the reveal of their One Direction covers.

The mob mentality of One Direction fans have gone into overdrive as the men's magazine has received a flood of hate tweets from Directioners, who believe that the one-liners accompanying the covers put the boys in a "bad light".

Issues with the covers

Most of the hate have been directed towards Harry Styles' headline - "He's Up All Night To Get Lucky" - who the unhinged minds of his fandom have twisted to mean that the magazine is portraying their idol as a "whore", which he is apparently not due to their intimate knowledge of his private life and of course knowing him personally.

Louis' cover has also gotten some heat - "Louis is no longer going to play nice" - because according to the fans he is such a "nice" guy and can't do anything wrong.

Scary death threats

The bewildered staff at GQ posted some of the most terrifying tweets/responses and we selected a choice few to show the mentality of One Direction fans:

Our only response to these tweets:
Directioners say whaat??
