5 absolutely random things you have to see before you can start this year

Cape Town – The parties are over. The extreme food marathon sessions that included grandma’s trifle pudding is history. The gifts have been unwrapped, returned and secretly replaced with something you really wanted for Christmas but didn’t get.

So to get you on your way in 2014, we’ve put together five rather weird things that you have to see so you can start 2014 in a state of absolute bliss.

Now don’t go and read too much into this. This is not an article of global importance and will not have any profound influence on your life. It’s just five really random things we threw together into one absolutely amazing article that will kind of blow your mind.

1) Let’s start with the most important of them all. A GIF of One Direction hottie Harry Styles eating a banana. As Harry once said; “Never make eye contact with anyone while eating a banana.”

2) This is pure perfection. Can be watched on repeat throughout the year and will definitely be a great conversation starter if you ever find yourself in an awkward situation where you have nothing to talk about. Slow-motion basset hound.

3) This is a photo shared by Kendall Jenner on Twitter of Kris and Bruce Jenner tossing a salad many years ago.

4) May you be this happy in 2014!

5) This family portrait of Ricky Gervais and his brother.

*If you can read this it means you made it through the most random article of 2014 so far. Well done.
