6 celebs who tattooed their partner's name on their body and later removed them

Cape Town - Celebrities, like the rest of us, fall in love and think that it is going to last forever.

Love can make you do a lot of outrageous things but the most hideous of them all is getting your sweetheart's name tattooed onto your body.

Here are six celebs who had to endure the costly pain of having a lover's tattooed name removed.

Melanie Griffith



After her divorce from Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith had her famous 'Antonio' tattoo removed.

Johnny Depp



Depp fell head over heels in love with Winona Ryder back in 1996 and had 'Winona Forever' tattooed on his right shoulder.

Angelina Jolie



During Angelina's wild days she had her hubby's name proudly scribbled on her upper arm. She had the tattoo removed in 2003 after their divorce and replaced it with coordinates of her new family's birthplaces.

Marc Anthony



Jennifer Lopez's ex hubby Marc Anthony had the name Jennifer tattooed on his wrist. He had it removed after their marriage ended.

Denise Richards



Denise Richards tattooed Charlie Sheen's name on her inner ankle. She removed the tattoo and replaced it with a flying fairy.

Heidi Klum



The German supermodel Heidi Klum had her ex spouse's name, Seal tattooed on her arm. She had it removed when the two split back in 2013.
