6 other times Kim Kardashian West had scary encounters

Cape Town – Kim Kardashian West escaped unharmed when she was held up at gunpoint in Paris on Sunday night.

This however isn’t the first time the reality TV star has been publicly harassed.

We take a look at 6 other times Kim Kardashian had scary encounters in the public eye.

1. Flour bomb

In 2012 Kim was flour-bombed while promoting her new perfume at a red carpet event.

2. Racial slurs

A first-class passenger woke Kim up with screams of racial slurs towards her then 12-month-old daughter, North.

Kim revealed on KUWTK, "This lady stood up in the cabin in first class and yelled at the top of her lungs, 'She's with a black guy, and that baby is black! And you need to shut that black baby up!'"

3. Blackface

In February 2014 Kim and her mom/manager Kris attended the Vienna Ball in Austria and were confronted by a man dressed in blackface claiming to be Kanye.

4. The first prankster attack

Well-known prankster Vitalii Sediuk first attacked Kim at Paris Fashion Week in September 2014. The Ukranian former journalist pulled Kim’s hair and almost knocked her to the ground.

5. Animal activists

In the same year, Kim was bombarded with animal activists at a book signing for her selfie book, Selfish. A group of animal activists verbally attacked the 35-year-old calling her a “disgusting human”.

6. The second prankster attack

Before the armed robbery, Kim’s most recent attack came from celebrity prankster Vitalii Sediuk, who tried to plant a kiss on her butt, last Wednesday.
