7de Laan's Stian Bam welcomes son

Cape Town - Stian Bam's wife Truda has given birth to their first child, reports Huisgenoot.

The soapie actor, who played artist Dawid Greef in 7de Laan, told the magazine that the birth of his son came a bit earlier than expected.

"Our son would have arrived on 18 June, but he came a bit earlier... on 24 May," said the proud first-time dad.

Stian also revealed that the baby has been named after his father.

"His birth name is Hendrik Johannes Jacobus, but we call him Jannes."
