Los Angeles - Adam Levine has apologised to his ex-girlfriends ahead of his wedding.

The Maroon 5 front-man is set to tie the knot with his model girlfriend Behati Prinsloo next month in Mexico and is keen to make amends with his scorned exes before his big day.

Serial "modeliser" Adam has a history of unceremoniously putting an end to his romances with catwalk beauties, namely ignoring all of Nina Agdal's messages and then texting her the news of his engagement to Behati,

However, a source insists The Voice coach is a changed man and sees the error of his ways.

An insider told Us Weekly magazine; "He apologised for how he treated them."

A second source added: "They couldn't care less he wants to make it right."

Adam, 35, feels ready to settle down with Victoria's Secret beauty Behati and wants to prove the depth of his feelings for her with a tattoo of her name.

A third source said: "He may get a tattoo of Behati's name over his heart. He wants to make their love permanent on his body."

Adam, who got down on one knee in July 2013, has been renovating his Beverly Hills mansion in a bid to turn it into a family home before he becomes a married man.

The Payphone singer filed a permit in November 2013 with the Los Angeles County Building and Safety Department to convert a storage room into a maid's room, transform the living room, add a recording room as well as a guest suite, according to RadarOnline.com.
