Advisors want Justin Bieber to stay away from Selena Gomez

Los Angeles - Justin Bieber's advisers reportedly warned him to stay away from Selena Gomez.

The on/off couple - who split in November 2012 - were spotted hanging out in Los Angeles recently and were believed to have rekindled their romance, before splitting again amid reports of a leaked text message conversation between the pair in which Selena told Justin to go to "rehab".

Members of the 19-year-old singer's inner circle believe his troubled behaviour is down to Selena, 21, driving him crazy by keeping him ''hanging'' and they believe he'd be better off if he cut all ties with her.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "The message has been sent.

''There is always so much - ridiculous - drama involving both of them. They fight constantly and Selena loves to keep Justin hanging. He always acts out after they fight. Selena is just not good for Justin. They need to stay away from each other.''

'An odour of alcohol'

These allegations come after Justin was charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing in the early hours of Thursday in Miami beach.

According to police reports the officer "immediately smelt an odour of alcohol emanating" from his breath and noticed he had "bloodshot eyes" as well as "slow deliberate movement and a stupor look on his face".

The singer - who had allegedly been speeding in a rented, yellow Lamborghini - verbally insulted the police officers who stopped him, saying, "Why the fuck are you doing this?" before he was taken into custody.

He was then booked at Miami-Dade County Jail, where he had his mugshots and fingerprints taken. Justin posted $2 500 bail after appearing at a court hearing in Miami, Florida, and is believed to have headed back to Los Angeles.
