Johannesburg - The Afrikaans singer Karlien van Jaarsveld (27) has given birth to two healthy baby boys.
Van Jaarsveld and her rugby player husband Derick Hougaard announced earlier this year that they were expecting twins.
The Uitklophou singer’s mother, Ronel Brink, revealed on Twitter on Thursday morning that the twins had been born and that they were “perfect”.
Van Jaarsveld’s singer brother, Bobby, cut his vacation in Sodwana short to be with his sister.
The twins have been given the Biblical names Daniël and Eliah.
Brink also tweeted this photo of Derick in the hospital prior to the birth of the twins:
