Alec Baldwin's Twitter rant over fiancée

New York - When it comes to his 28-year-old fiancée, Alec Baldwin is very protective.

He used Twitter to blast a New York newspaper for "crashing" yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas' class.

He tweeted on Monday: "Shame on the no-talent trash from the Daily News for invading the privacy of 75 people in a yoga class to take a picture of someone."

Baldwin also posted the names of reporters at the class. He included a picture of one, and called her "nutty," followed by a mild curse word.

The actor celebrated his 54th birthday on Tuesday. He popped the question last weekend.

The Daily News had no immediate response to comment requests on Tuesday.

He should be applauded for protecting the privacy of those in his life. Journalists ought to stay away from invading the privacy of others, especially seeing as the girl isn't a public figure, her fiance is. Why should their relationship be beset with invasive behaviour? Journalists like this should be reporting on real issues and news and stop snooping around in other peoples' lives. Its disgusting. These tabloid so-called journalists have thick skins, no sensitivity or breeding. I would go further and stalk the journalist myself, publishing pictures & information on her. Go Baldwin - I agree.
