Los Angeles - Amanda Bynes locked herself in a store changing room for nearly two hours and refused to come out, reports TMZ.com.
The troubled actress, who recently had her car impounded and her driving licence suspended, caused concern among staff at the Kin store in West Hollywood who thought she was "doing drugs" when she refused to come out for a considerable amount of time after she locked herself in a changing room.
A clerk told TMZ: "I was so worried about her. I didn't know what she was doing in the dressing room. I didn't know if she was overdosing or doing drugs or what."
Banging noises
According to the report, Amanda made a banging noise on the inside of the changing room every 10 minutes for almost two hours.
When store personnel asked her to come out, she refused telling them she needed "more time".
Staff said that she eventually exited the changing room and purchased a pair of stilettos and some sunglasses.
They also told TMZ that as she exited the store, she remembered the bathing suit she had on underneath her clothing and continued to purchase the item before she finally left the store.
When she eventually left, the employees said she called a taxi.
In recent months, the actress has had her driving licence suspended after she failed to submit to a sobriety test and is facing a court appearance on 21 September.
