Los Angeles - Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have officially announced that they are going to split.
The golden comedy couple's spokesperson announced earlier this week that the couple will be separating after nine years of marriage.
A source told Us Weekly despite their parting, the split is "very amicable."
'I'm gonna marry that girl'
Parks and Recreation star Amy and 30 Rock actor Will married in 2003 and have two sons together, Archie, three, and Abel, two.
Speaking about their relationship in 2007, Amy said: "People think we sit around and make each other laugh and stuff. But we're real homebodies."
Will has previously said he "immediately had a talent crush" on Amy when he met her, adding: "The first time I saw her onstage, I said, 'I'm gonna marry that girl.' "
The marriage was Amy's first, and Will's second after he was wed to actress Penelope Ann Miller for one year until 1995.
Will is currently starring in Up All Night with actress Christina Applegate, while the next season of Parks and Recreation featuring Amy will also air toward the end of September in the US and later next year in South Africa.
