Andrew Garfield's ex wants Robert

Los Angeles - Andrew Garfield's former girlfriend has set her sights on Robert Pattinson.

Raising Hope actress Shannon Woodward has reportedly been growing close to the Twilight Saga hunk, who was left devastated when his estranged girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him.

Shannon hopes the brooding actor will fall for her because she understands how it feels to go through a traumatic split.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper that Robert and Shannon have been getting really close. "She's fancied him for years, but he's always been dating Kristen when their paths crossed at social events.

'She understands what Rob's going through'

"She understands what Rob's going through. She split up with Andrew Garfield after he fell in love with his Spider-Man co-star Emma Stone. Shannon's hoping they can be more than just friends."

Shannon's best friend Katy Perry recently enjoyed a dinner party with Robert where she encouraged him to get out and have fun.

"On 23 August, Katy and Rob met up at the Soho House in West Hollywood for a bite to eat. They are close friends and can just be themselves when they are with each other.

"Katy has been trying to be as supportive as she can for Rob. She understands what he's going through and wants to help him. Katy has been urging Rob to go out and be silly and have fun," the source claimed.

But after an hour long phone call earlier this week, Robert said that he is ready to meet with Kristen and have a serious talk as well as decide if he does want to take her back.
