Angie's dad didn't know she got married

Los Angeles - Jon Voight reportedly wasn't invited to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's wedding on Saturday.

The 75-year-old actor allegedly wasn't aware that his daughter, whom he was estranged from for several years but reconciled with in 2010, had tied the knot with her beau in the south of France on Saturday.

He told E! news in a statement on Thursday: "It sounds like it was a wonderful wedding. It must have been very beautiful with the kids participating.

"I know it was during the Emmy week and they were able to do it very quietly. I'm very happy for them."

Angelina, 39, and Brad, 50, exchanged their vows at a small chapel at Chateau Miraval and made sure their six children Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and five-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, all had important roles to carry out on their big day.

Maddox and Pax, walked the actress down the aisle, the couple's daughters Zahara and Vivienne threw petals at the beautiful bride and Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers for their loved-up parents.

Angelina wore a white dress and matching veil for the nuptials, as well as her late mother Marcheline Bertrand's golden locket around her neck.

A source told Access Hollywood:"The dress was very traditional, but very Angie, it was comfortable but plain white floor-length antique lace and silk. She definitely wore something that once belonged to her mother Marcheline Bertrand. A small gold locket with a photo of her mum inside it."

Brad was reportedly lost for words when he lifted the stunning brunette's veil and looked into her eyes.

The couple first fell in love when they were shooting 2005 action film Mr and Mrs Smith together.

Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston - who he divorced in 2005 after five years together - at the time, but he has always denied cheating on her with Angelina.

Meanwhile, this was Angelina's third time down the aisle as she was previously married to Johnny Lee Miller until 1999 and Billy Bob Thornton until 2003.
