Anne Hathaway's husband loves her 'pointy' nipples!

Los Angeles - Anne Hathaway's husband thought her nipples looked "pointy" in her dress for the Oscar Awards last year.

The Les Misérables star, who secured the gong for the Best Supporting Actress at the ceremony in 2013, was forced to find a last-minute frock for the glamorous event after she discovered Amanda Seyfried was wearing the "lilac version" of her first choice.

Recalling the night before the Oscars, she said: "I didn't have a frigging dress, which I normally wouldn't care about. But I really needed a dress, and everybody hates me, and I just really needed a dress."

However, her luck changed when she fell in love with a beautiful Prada gown, which turned up at her door the next day, but she wasn't the only one to admire the way it clung to her assets as her husband Adam Shulman couldn't take his eyes off his beautiful spouse.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar magazine, Anne, 31, explained: "I was like, 'Wow! I can do this. The dress is beautiful. It's appropriate. It's modern. It's minimal.

"I look in the mirror, turn to Adam, and say, 'It looks like my nipples are hard.'

"He says, 'You look beautiful. Your nipples look pointy. The red carpet's about to close. We gotta go.'"
