Katherine Schwarzenegger - one of the four children the Terminator star has with his estranged wife Maria Shriver - has taken to her Twitter account to speak about the importance of forgiveness and not holding grudges, following revelations the former Governor of California had fathered a 14-year-old son with the family's retired housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena.
She wrote: "Sometimes we forgive people cause we want them back in our lives. (sic)"
Another post read "Holding grudges is bad for your health. Forgive and let go. It doesn't mean keep them around either", while a third one said: "Everything happens for a reason, the hard part is finding out what that reason is."
Divorce proceedings
While Katherine, 21, may be set to forgive her father, the same cannot be said of Maria as she is said to have hired A-list divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.
It is thought the couple - who had been married for 25 years - did not have a prenuptial agreement so Maria could pocket $100m in a settlement as their combined worth is said to be between $200m and $400m.
Arnold, 63, admitted last week he had fathered a lovechild with Mildred and had found out he was the boy's father when he was a toddler but kept the secret from his wife for over 10 years.
