Cape Town - Arno Carstens' wife Melanie announced the birth of their son via Twitter on Sunday.

Melanie tweeted the following: "Our son, Hayden Christian Carstens was born on 4 May 2012. Thank you @ArnoCarstens for the greatest gift of my life."

She also posted a picture on Twitter of Arno and their baby boy.

Springbok Nude Girls frontman Arno congratulated Melanie on her first mother's day on Sunday. He tweeted "congrats on first time mothersday mommy @MelanieCarstens."
