Los Angeles - Ashton Kutcher bought his house to stop Justin Bieber from snapping it up.
The 34-year-old Two and a Half Men actor started renting the Los Angeles bachelor pad after splitting with wife Demi Moore in November.
But when he got word that 18-year-old Justin was interested in buying it, he decided to take action.
He explained: "All of a sudden my assistant tells me there's somebody coming to look at the house to maybe buy it. I get a text from this guy [Justin] and he's in my house, checking it out, trying to buy my house."
Over-21s
"He's like 'Yo, I'm in your house right now. I'm checking it out'. I'm like 'What? Are you trying to take my house from under me?'
"I was like 'I don't want to lose this house'. He forced me to buy a house. He's trying to steal my swagger."
Appearing with the Boyfriend singer on American chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote a new series of Punk'd, Ashton said his home is for strictly over-21s, meaning Justin isn't welcome.
But the Never Say Never star argued: "I'm 18. I could be almost ready. You could train me," before conceding: "We'll wait a couple of years."
