BFFs Katy and Kristen enjoy girls' night

Los Angeles - Katy Perry enjoyed a girls' night out with Kristen Stewart.

The newly single Wide Awake singer - who recently split from her on/off boyfriend John Mayer after seven months together - was spotted laughing and joking with the On The Road actress at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, which they attended together.

The duo also spent time with Selena Gomez and pregnant Black Eyed Peas star Fergie, but Kristen left her on/off boyfriend Robert Pattinson at home.

The couple - who are still contemplating their future together - were reunited after two months apart this week because the 26-year-old British actor was filming his new movie The Rover in Australia.

Kristen, 22, and Katy, 28, are back on good terms after briefly falling out last year.

The Part of Me singer reportedly supported close pal Robert and encouraged him to move on after the Twilight Saga hunk was left devastated when Kristen cheated on him with married director Rupert Sanders in August 2012.

'More of a break'

But they eventually made amends and were spotted celebrating Katy's birthday together in October 2012 and Kristen is now supporting Katy following her split from John this month.

Although the couple have called time on their romance, friends admit they won't be surprised if they get back together again in the near future.

An insider recently told HollywoodLife.com the split is "more of a break than a break-up".

"You'll probably see them hanging out sooner then later and hooking up again. They remain very friendly," the insider said.

Both stars were in a celebratory mood after they picked up awards at the ceremony.

Katy won Favourite Female Singer, while Kristen nabbed the awards for Favourite Butt Kicker and Favourite Movie Actress.
