Cape Town - Former Miss South Africa Basetsana Kumalo and her husband, Romeo, welcomed their second son to the family recently.
Romeo told the Sunday Times that uShaka Kgositsile Emmanuel Kumalo was born at the Medi-clinic in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Romeo, an executive commercial director at Vodacom, said that the new addition to the family was the best 40th birthday present.
He turned 40 in February.
Basetsana has said no photos of the baby will be released for the next three months as it is part of her family's culture.
The pair were married in 2000 and have another son named Nkosinathi.
