Beyoncé 'definitely' wants more kids

Los Angeles - Beyonce Knowles "definitely'' wants to have more kids.

The 31-year-old singer gave birth to her and husband Jay-Z's first child, daughter Blue Ivy, in January, and she is already thinking about having more babies in the future.

She said: "I definitely want to have more. I don't know how many. God knows, I don't know yet."

Breast-feeding

While Beyonce is keen to increase the size of her family, the former Destiny's Child singer doesn't expect to be welcoming a new addition soon due to her busy schedule - but the brunette beauty is grateful for having such a "full life".

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Single Ladies hitmaker added: "I've been rehearsing, I have a show coming up and it's my first show in a year. I have such a full life. I feel like now I know the reason that I was born."

Despite giving birth just four months ago, Beyonce showed off her trim figure at the Met Costume Institute Gala in New York on Monday, and she recently revealed breast-feeding and a strict diet and exercise regime helped her to shift the extra pounds put on during her pregnancy.

She explained: "I lost most of my weight from breast-feeding and I encourage women to do it; it's just so good for the baby and good for yourself.

"I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week. I did a lot walking in the beginning and now I'm running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn't just go right from being pregnant to running."
