Cape Town - Singer Bobby van Jaarsveld has shown the world a picture of his unborn son.
The Afrikaans singer posted a 3D ultrasound picture of the baby, who will be named Sion, on Facebook, noting that the young one looks just like him.
"OK you guys, here is a picture of my son, Sion...I think he looks like me. He’s coming in about three weeks!" He wrote on his Facebook page.
Van Jaarsveld’s wife Annatjie jokingly added that it’s all very well that the boy looks just like his father, but that she hopes he will inherit her character.
Honeymoon baby
She said that little Sion truly is a "honeymoon baby".
"We were married on 7 January. According to the doctors Sion will be born in 3 weeks time.
"Bobby is of course as proud as a peacock and can’t wait for the next two weeks to pass. But I am actually kind of sad that the time in which I could carry my child so close to my heart has passed so quickly."
On Thursday Annatjie said that the nursery has been fully arranged. "In both our families there is now a general feeling of anticipation. The grandparents can’t wait."
