Bonang Matheba turns down Playboy

Cape Town - Radio and TV personality Bonang Matheba has rejected an offer to be Playboy South Africa's cover girl, reports Entertainment Africa.

Matheba was approached last week to appear on the magazine's first anniversary edition.

Charl du Plessis, Playboy SA's editor, said Matheba and her management team rejected the offer, but gave no reason for her decision.

Matheba was the first local black model to appear on the cover of local men's magazine FHM in June last year.

Shiri Reouveni of Matheba's management team said their plans for the first quarter of the year is already in place and they had to decline the offer from Playboy.

Not much of a difference between FHM and Playboy as far as I'm concerned...So please don't even hint that it's because of her moral high ground that she turned it down.

i'm very proud of you, decision you taken was very gigantic in way that other girls will go for sake of money.but you prove that you value your morale,it's human for people to critisis you,it's shows that you are not in this business as a golddigger

One look at the pouty little face in the pic above this story is enough to put anyone off. C'om editor Charl, surely Playboy can do better than that?
