Brandi Glanville movie deal in sight

Los Angeles - Brandi Glanville may turn her memoir into a movie.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star - who was a surprise guest at the 85th annual Academy Awards on Sunday - claims she has been approached about turning her explosive tell-all Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders into a film.

The 40-year-old blonde shared her joy on Twitter on Tuesday, writing: "Omg just had a talk about turning my book in2 a movie! Maybe we should pitch it to Lifetime. An unromantic comedy! #pinchme, (sic)"

A source confirmed the news to gossip website RadarOnline.com, saying: "A lot of people thought Brandi was sort of joking in her tweet about the movie, but she wasn't! She's already had several meetings about making her book into a movie. She's really excited about this. The biggest compliment an author can get is having their book made into a movie."

'Green with evny'

Brandi - who has been embroiled in a bitter war of words with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian's wife LeAnn Rimes and documents their difficult relationship in her book - allegedly doesn't want to star in her movie herself.

The insider said: "Brandi wouldn't want to actually be in the movie or play herself. In fact, she already has someone picked out to play her part. She really thinks actress Leslie Bibb would be the perfect fit."

A source close to LeAnn, 30, revealed she is not happy about the idea of their feud being adapted for the big screen.

"Turning this book into a movie is enough to send LeAnn over the edge,' the friend told RadarOnline.

"Not only does LeAnn not want the book's details splashed on a movie screen, but Brandi's success is really what's driving her nuts. She's absolutely green with envy."
